They face violent stormy waters, Diamond Dog pirates, and territorial narwhals during their voyage before they finally reach their destination. The next day, Applejack and her group are seen off by their friends and families, and they depart on a ship run by Cranky Doodle Donkey and his first mate Ragamuffin. Applejack apologizes for assuming Zecora wanted to return home, and Zecora reluctantly agrees to join the group for Applejack's sake. However, Zecora is upset over being made a part of Applejack's group without her permission, and she gets deeply offended at Applejack for expecting her to be grateful for something she never asked for or wanted. Lastly, Applejack has chosen Zecora, Rockhoof, and Tempest Shadow to travel with her to the zebra homeland of Farasi.Rarity has chosen Big McIntosh, Maud Pie, and Mage Meadowbrook to travel with her to the hidden kingdom of the Diamond Dogs.Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie have chosen Capper, Discord, and Trixie to travel with them to Capper's original homeland of Abyssinia.Rainbow Dash has chosen Captain Celaeno, Spitfire, and the recently married Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops to travel with her to Celaeno's homeland of Parrot Peaks.Because her new princess duties will require her to stay in Canterlot more often, Twilight has tasked her friends with forming new groups of friends to explore Equestria even further in the spirit of making new bonds of friendship and strengthening old ones: She explains that Equestria has expanded greatly as a result of her and the rest of the Mane Six's adventures together.
